Madi
Age 19. Volunteer Coordinator, Discovery Centre volunteer.
In a world that is constantly evolving and adapting, research is crucial to finding out the best and most current ways to make young patients feel comfortable. Seeing the difference The Kids Research Institute Australia makes to the families of sick kids motivates me to become involved in any way I can.
As a volunteer coordinator I help The Kids advertise any volunteer opportunities to University of Western Australia students. I also volunteer in the Discovery Centre, playing with the children and teaching them a little bit about the human body.
