Research is critical as it informs strategy and helps build a greater understanding of complex illnesses and disorders. I want to contribute so that in future years, young people will be better supported through their wellbeing journeys. We cannot develop better ways to help and guide people without learning from past experience. This is what motivates me to contribute to the research conducted by The Kids.

I think community input is so important because we must remember that there are people behind every story. People with lived experience can provide insight which differs from what can be found through statistical data. Having community input is what helps The Kids to have a more personalised understanding of the experiences which people go through.
