The Opportunity
This position provides an opportunity to be part of an exciting research agenda and a growing team of dedicated professionals. This position would suit someone with excellent administration and organisational skills who is a genuine team player and content to support the team.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide regular administrative support to researchers and team staff in the Infectious Diseases Implementation Research Team (IDIR) team to ensure efficient functioning and achievement of goals within time constraints. Regular, consistent, reliable support is essential.
This role includes:
- Project Support - document management, meeting management, managing arrangements.
- Accounts - completing internal forms, ensuring invoices and payments are processed efficiently.
- Research support - assisting with grant submission process and tracking team outputs.
- Team support - maintain and co-ordinate team systems, diaries etc
- Other tasks as required.
This role is a Part Time 0.5 position (20 hours per week) ideal for someone looking to workin school hours over 4 days.
Your Experience
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Minimum two years experience in an office administration position
- Excellent organisational skills
- Sound experience providing support with financial management
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and to set priorities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Sound experience with relevant computer applications
- Self-motivated, flexible and friendly
- Prior experience in research and / or health sector role
