Casual Senior Research Officer – Respiratory Health

Based in the Kimberley: One Arm Point, Djarindjin, Beagle Bay

The Role

This is a casual position to assess cough and respiratory health in children aged 0-7 years in three remote communities. Ideally, we are looking for a physiotherapist who is currently working within the Peninsula communities to undertake a study seeking to determine the prevalence of chronic wet cough in children.

The Experience

  • Bachelor of Science/ Physiotherapy
  • Current Physiotherapy license
  • Current driver’s license
  • Paediatric respiratory physiotherapy training
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Endnote and general Internet and electronic communications)
  • Excellent attention to detail

The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactory National Police Check and Working With Children’s Check prior to commencement.
