Clinical Services Manager - CliniKids

The Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for an experienced clinical manager to work in a dynamic and progressive team who are passionate about integrating cutting edge research with clinical services.

The Role

The role of the Manager is to lead and develop the clinical services at CliniKids. The linical Services Manager will manage the clinical services team, be responsible for the day to day operations, build relationships and create referral pathways internally and externally, and oversee the annual financial budgets.

This is a Full Time maximum term contract of 2 years.

Your Experience

Along with a relevant degree in Allied Health, Health Administration, Business or equivalent knowledge/skills developed through professional experience, successful candidates will have the following:

  • Demonstrated Experience managing an allied health or disability services practice
  • Experience with managing NDIS, DSC and/or Medicare funding
  • Substantial experience directly managing people or operations
  • High level influencing and negotiation skills including working with clinicians and funding body managers
  • Budgeting, finance and reporting skills sufficient to propose budgets, monitor performance and write actionable reports
  • Professional customer service skills including leading positive service initiatives
  • Professional managerial and administrative skills/experience including IT systems, records management and staffing
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to work as a member of a team as well as on own initiative without close supervision

The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Working with Children’s Check and a satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
