We are seeking a Clinical Trial Coordinator to coordinate a clinical registry/trial to assess evidence based care of Acute Respiratory Infections in children.
The Opportunity
This role will work within a multidisciplinary team within the Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines and Infectious Diseases on a clinical trial based at Perth Children Hospital that will assess the evidence based care of Acute Respiratory Infections in Children.
The Role
This is a Part-time position, fixed term for 1 year with a possibility of extension.
Salary: Salary is dependent upon experience. Remuneration package includes access to generous salary packaging.
The Experience
We are looking for an individual with relevant tertiary qualifications in science, health or nursing with appropriate experience. The ideal applicant will have:
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trial or clinical registry coordination, or managing research projects encompassing multiple stakeholders
- Proven project and time management abilities in a research context with demonstrable experience creating and maintaining record keeping systems
- Demonstrated experience developing research instruments
- Demonstrated experience preparing ethics research applications
- Demonstrated experience in participant recruitment
- Demonstrated ability to set goals, develop priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated interpersonal skills and experience in writing grant applications/scientific publications
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, data management, and electronic communications as required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactory National Police Check and WWCC prior to commencement.
