Database Coordinator, ORIGINS

This is an exciting opportunity to join the ORIGINS Project playing a key role in the coordination of the Project's data systems.

Based at the Joondalup Health Campus, the ORIGINS Project is a major longitudinal birth cohort study being conducted over 10 years by The Kids Research Institute Australia at the Joondalup Health Campus. The aim of ORIGINS is to build a research platform to enable world class investigations into when and why non-communicable diseases (NCDs) develop, through the study of early environments, maternal and paternal physical health, the microbiome and genetics.

The Database Coordinator will be responsible for the

  • Development and coordination of data capture systems (including web questionnaires and databases) for ORIGINS Project participants.
  • Facilitation of collaboration and integration of other study data to enhance the completeness and integrity of the Project data.

We are looking for someone with relevant tertiary qualifications, strong computer and troubleshooting skills and excellent attention to detail. Please refer to the Job Description available at www.telethonkids.org.au for more details about the requirements for the role.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and Project participants so must possess strong communication skills. Above all, you must be committed to improving child health for the future.

This is a full time role, fixed term for 12 month. The successful applicant will need to provide a current National Police Check before commencement.
