Digital Coordinator

The Opportunity

The Communications and Development team implements the Institute's overall communications, stakeholder engagement, marketing and philanthropy strategies, as well as supporting researchers, teams and projects to promote their work and achievements.

The Role

We're looking for a talented Digital Coordinator to join our dynamic growing team. This role’s main duties will be to help maintain the Institute’s external website including the curation of content to ensure information remains up-to-date, current, accessible and is effectively promoted. The role will also assist with website updates and maintenance, SEO and metrics, information architecture and structure, and training of staff in the use of the Content Management System (CMS).

This is an entry-level opportunity that would suit a recent outstanding graduate, or someone with 2-5 years digital experience. This is a permanent full-time position with access to generous Salary Packaging.

Your Experience

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has:

  • Demonstrated experience in website management and maintenance, including the use of a CMS.
  • A strong interest in digital metrics and how to use them effectively to optimise performance.
  • Knowledge of SEO strategies and best practice.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • A positive attitude and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.

 The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
