Manager, Learning and Development

Manage the Learning & Development program for the Institute's staff and students so they can continue to learn and thrive trough various stages of their careers

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this role will manage the Learning & Development program for the Institute through a variety of  programs and workshops available to staff and students to facilitate their professional growth and advancement so they can continue to learn and thrive through the various stages of their careers.

The role will also be involved in a range of programs such as the People Strategy, Student Programs and Awards and Scholarships.

To be successful you will:

  • Have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree with Honours or equivalent
  • Be able to develop and broker relationships with key university contacts
  • Demonstrate your ability to think strategically and initiate change to meet organisational objectives
  • Demonstrate Leadership and Management skills specifically to guide and coordinate team members towards a common goal
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective working relationships across all levels (researchers, professional staff, clinicians, universities)
  • Demonstrate your ability to anticipate and resolve problems, be proactive and initiate action to deal with issues when they arise
  • Be proficient with MS Office suite, Outlook
  • Have experience in managing budgets
