Payroll Officer

Payroll Officer

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for the end to end fortnightly payroll process in an accurate and timely manner.  The Payroll Officer will need to be able to process new employees, changes in hours, changes in salary, terminations, manage general inquiries and prepare manual long service leave calculations and adhoc calculations as requested.
The successful candidate will:

  • Possess extensive payroll experience in a comparable role, with a minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Have excellent people skills
  • Have accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Be organised and have excellent time management skills
  • Be self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously and as a Team Player
  • Be experienced in Excel and major software packages

This is a Part time position, 0.6 FTE with flexibility, fixed term for 3 years. Remuneration package includes access to generous salary packaging.

The successful candidate will need to forward a current National Police Certificate before commencement
