An exciting opportunity to work in the Children's Lung Health research team to improve lung health in children and young people.

At The Kids, we've created a blueprint for a new kind of research institute  - one that brings together community, researchers, practitioners, policy makers and funders, who share our vision to improve the health and wellbeing of children through excellence in research.

The Children's Lung Health team is led by Associate Professor Graham Hall and operates between the Institute and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. Our group has several major ongoing projects investigating pathophysiology of paediatric respiratory disease.

We are seeking a dynamic Research Assistant to be involved in a program of research assessment of lung function and assisting in ongoing research with a focus on working with young children.

This role will suit individuals with a passion for improving children's health who are able to work independently and comfortable in dealing with families and young children.

Opportunities exist for suitably qualified and motivated individuals to develop their skills in a world class research environment.

This full-time or part-time (>0.5 FTE) is available for a fixed-term of one year, with the possibility of extension. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience. Generous salary packaging is also available.
