Study Recruitment & Engagement Manager: The ORIGINS Project

The Opportunity

The ORIGINS Project has an exciting opportunity for a role within the Project to ensure optimum participant recruitment and retention, managing a small onsite team. The ORIGINS Project is a 10-year research project that aims to recruit 10,000 participants in order to build world class Bio and Data banks to facilitate research into non-communicable diseases. The Project is 18 months into implementation.

The Role

The purpose of this position is to manage the Project Recruitment team of clinical and administrative coordinators/research assistants to meet Project deliverables. There is an opportunity to build key working relationships to facilitate Project engagement within a clinical setting as well as making improvements and efficiencies in Project processes. The role is part of the Project Management team that provides operational and strategic leadership to the Project.

This position will be based at the Project delivery site at Joondalup Health Campus in the northern suburbs of Perth. It is a full time role for a fixed term of 2 years with the possibility of extension.

Your Experience

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a health, science and/or management-related discipline.
  • Demonstrated sound management skills and experience.
  • High level presentation and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working in a health care setting or research environment.

The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Working with Children’s Check and a satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
