Trudy is an accomplished Program Coordinator with a deep passion for child and adolescent health, wellbeing, and development.

Having joined the Institute in 2017 as a Personal Assistant, Trudy established herself as an invaluable asset due to her high level administrative, operational, and financial knowledge which led her to a Program Coordinator role supporting two teams: Early Years System Evidence and Adolescent Health and Wellbeing. In this capacity, Trudy works closely with senior team leaders and contributes to the overall success of the organisation's diverse program of work.

Trudy demonstrates an unwavering commitment to excellence and strives to foster an environment that promotes innovation, collaboration, and impactful research in the field of child and adolescent health. Her keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills enables her to effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently, ensuring seamless coordination and timely execution.

To further augment her expertise in the field, Trudy pursued a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at the University of South Australia. This academic background equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the foundational principles of early childhood development, allowing her to approach her work with a holistic perspective. Trudy's educational qualifications, combined with her practical experience, empower her to make informed decisions and contribute valuable insights to the research teams she supports.

Beyond her professional achievements, Trudy is known for her warm and approachable demeanour. She fosters strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment. Her effective communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse working styles contribute to the seamless functioning of teams and the overall success of the Institute's research endeavours.

Trudy's passion for supporting the teams to improving the health, wellbeing, and development of children and adolescents is evident in her tireless dedication to her work.
