Anna Gubbay
Head, Kids Rehab WA
Dr Anna Gubbay is a senior consultant Paediatrician and Head of Kids Rehab WA at Perth Children’s Hospital. She has had over 20 years clinical experience working within different clinical programmes in the department. In her current clinical role in Kids Rehab WA, she is a Consultant Paediatrician in within the Cerebral Palsy Mobility Service and the Spinal Rehabilitation Service. She is interested in the ongoing development and growth of Kids Rehab WA and promoting staff development and education.
As Head of Kids Rehab WA, Dr Gubbay has overseen and helped facilitate integration of clinical research and its translation into clinical care. This includes support of, and involvement in, grant development, the development of research projects, and facilitating implementation of research activities within the department. She has also overseen the critical translation of research outcomes into clinical practice and the dissemination of knowledge to families and rehabilitation clinicians as a department priority. Kids Rehab WA has an extensive record of quality improvement activity and Dr Gubbay provides leadership and support for staff within the department to implement best practice research outcomes.
