Elizabeth Wilkes

Liz Wilkes is a Noongar woman with family connections to the Wadjuk and Ballardong tribes. She has a background in nursing and a passion for Aboriginal health and community engagement.

Liz Wilkes began her nursing as a Graduate Nurse at Princess Margaret Hospital. Liz went on to work at the Aboriginal Clinic in Mandurah as a Clinical Nurse, before moving into community heath, focusing on healthy lifestyle and chronic disease education.

Prior to joining the team at The Kids, she worked at Fiona Stanley Hospital with the Aboriginal Liaison Team.

Now, as the Aboriginal Community Engagement Coordinator for the First Nations Childhood Cancer Research Team, Liz continues to pursue her passion for achieving better health outcomes for her Aboriginal Community.
