Youth Health report

Research for the Commissioner for Children & Young People seeking the views of >1,000 young people about their experiences accessing/using health services

The Kids Research Institute Australia along with the Social Research Group conducted research for the Commissioner for Children and Young People seeking the views of more than 1,000 young people about their experiences accessing and using health services.  The Kids Research Institute Australia also undertook a review of literature on youth health including previous research consultations with young people in Australia and internationally to identify good practice in policy and service delivery for young people.

Several publications were released in March 2014 including:

  • Commissioner's Position Statement on Youth Health
  • Speaking Out About Youth Health
  • Young People's Experiences with Health Services: Final Report
  • Young People's Experiences with Health Services: A Literature Review developed for the Commissioner for Children and Young People in 2013 as part of the Commissioner's Youth Health Project
