Dr Jonatan Leffler, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, The Kids Research Institute Australia
Jonatan completed his PhD in 2013 at Lund University Sweden, where he studied how the complement system is involved in the autoimmune disease systemic lupus erythematosus. He commenced at the Institute in January this year and works as a postdoctoral research fellow studying how aeroallergens are recognised by our immune system to induce allergy.

Katrina Hopkins is a recent The Kids Research Institute Australia/UWA PhD
Katrina has a broad public sector background of working with Aboriginal people to coordinate whole of government services delivery in environmental health and housing. Katrina is currently a Senior Research Officer undertaking consultations and development of applications to relink the Western Australian Aboriginal Child Health Survey with administrative records.
