We were really thrilled to welcome Telethon champ Scott at the Institute today!
Ten year old Scott has been walking for Telethon since he was four years old and he's now raised a massive $100 thousand for Telethon.
Our researchers were really honoured to meet Scott and give him a tour of Telethon Kids. Scott heard from Dr Shannon Simpson about respiratory research and had his lung function tested.
He then chatted with autism researcher Professor Andrew Whitehouse before heading into the lab to meet Dr Julia Wells and talk to her about cancer research.
Well done Scott, keep up your amazing fundraising efforts for Telethon! We can't wait to hear how you go walking the Berg Lake Trail in the Canadian Rockies later this year.
