Prof. Bob Hancock

Areas of Expertise: Functional genomics, infectious diseases, respiratory health, systems biology, novel therapies and antimicrobials.

Prof. Scott Tebbutt       

Title: Division of Respiratory Medicine, University of British Columbia; Centre for Heart Lung Innovation, St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver

Areas of Expertise: Systems biology, complex disease biomarkers, respiratory health (asthma, cystic fibrosis, allergic rhinitis, heart failure), neonatal vaccinology.

 

Prof. Jaap Goudsmit

Dr Amy Lee

Areas of Expertise: Molecular biology, transcriptomics, bacterial genomics, and host immunoinformatics in the context of infectious disease.

 

Prof Bekim Sadikovic

Dr Jose A. Caparrós-Martín

Areas of Expertise: Genetics and molecular pathogenesis of rare disorders; and 'systems medicine' approaches to understand functional microbiomes and metagenomes, and how they shape health and disease.

Title: Director, SAHMRI Computational & Systems Biology Program; Professor, Flinders University College of Medicine & Public Health; and EMBL Australia Group Leader, SAHMRI Microbiome & Host Health Program.

Areas of Expertise: Advanced systems biology and experimental immunology approaches to investigate the immune system and cancer. A particular interest in investigating how the microbiota influences immune responses in a wide range of contexts.
