When babies are born early or ‘preterm’ their tiny bodies are put under a lot of stress that can result in health problems in later life.

This research project will investigate the traits of preterm lung disease, looking into the long-term lung health of children born preterm, aiming to identify traits that could help guide better treatments in the future.

The Luminos Project has been co-designed with global experts in youth suicide support, mental health services, and research, alongside input from young people with lived experience, ensuring it meets their needs effectively.
