Abstract:
In 2002, the Founding Director of The Kids for Child Health Research, Professor Fiona Stanley, approached Rio Tinto Ltd about the possibility of supporting Aboriginal child health in Australia. Rio Tinto accepted this proposal and committed $2.5 million to the project over a period of five years.
