Project description

Brain tumour cells can hide from the immune system by using a signal called CD47, which tells immune cells not to attack. We aim to determine if combining anti-CD47 immunotherapy with radiation therapy can increase tumour cell death and improve survival in mouse models of medulloblastoma and high-grade glioma. This treatment strategy will be evaluated in our standard tumour models as well as the juvenile models we are currently developing
