The Opportunity
BEAT CF is a national, 5 year, multi-centre platform trial to improve the management of children and adults with Cystic Fibrosis. Be an integral part of this novel research, working with a team of experienced and passionate clinicians, researchers, CF patients and their families across Australia.
The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Clinical Trial Project Manager to take the lead on this ground-breaking trial. The Project Manager will deliver high-level and professional research services and ensure the project's priorities are met by providing expert advice at both a strategic and operational level.
The role has a strong focus on developing, pursuing and maintaining strong partnerships with all BEAT CF partners, including collaborators, consumers, relevant research bodies, academic staff and service providers. Therefore great communication skills are essential.
In addition, the role requires an individual who uses their initiative, is flexible and continually aspires to best practice, while ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met in a timely fashion.
This is a Full-Time role covering a maternity leave, for a fixed term of 12 months. Remuneration is between $83,982 and $95,029 Plus Superannuation, dependant on the successful applicant’s experience. This also includes access to generous Salary Packaging.
The Experience
The successful applicant will have the following skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in biological sciences, allied health, nursing or other relevant discipline OR equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of GCP and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, communicate and work within a team
- Experience in a clinical research environment, preferably across different phases of project development is essential to this role.
- Experience working in Investigator initiated clinical trials is highly desirable.
- Ability to demonstrate high level project management skills.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactory National Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check and Proof of working rights in Australia prior to commencement.
