The Opportunity
Led by Professor Andrew Whitehouse, the Autism Research Team, based at The Kids Research Institute Australia in Subiaco, are international research leaders in the understanding of autism. In 2018, CliniKids was established: a new clinical service providing intervention and diagnostic services for young children with developmental delays and/or autism spectrum disorder, and their families. This unique collaboration creates an exciting opportunity to blend clinical practice and research in a clinical setting.
The Role
The successful applicant will effectively manage CliniKids' client reception, ensuring the clinic focus is customer service and family orientated, while maintaining CliniKids Guidelines, Policies & Procedures and Customer Service Standards. The role requires compassion, excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, strong customer service skills and excellent time management.
This is a Full Time role, for a fixed term of 12 months with the opportunity for extension.
Your Experience
Successful candidates will have the following skills/experience:
- Qualification/s or experience in reception work in a medical or allied health setting.
- High-level of verbal and written communication skills, including face-to-face, telephone, email and letters
- Exceptional level of customer care, administration and organisational skills
- Experience working with individuals with autism and/or their family members is desired.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Working with Children’s Check and a satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
